Hello! We’re happy you found us! Take your time and look around. We have many different items, some even to catch the most discerning eye. Maybe you don’t have the time today to shop and you need to make use of the other side of the business. You might need a quick, no hassle loan. Just bring in some thing of value, we can quickly appraise it and let you know what we can get for you.
There is a lot of info on the site about the process of a loan VS selling items outright. We will be sure you walk out happy with any deal you’ve made.
OUR HISTORY
The store opened in 1992 and has had three owners. It was sold the second time in 2003. When the new owner took over this business, he placed Mark as the manager of the shop. He was already working for him in his HVAC business. The owner sold that and bought the pawn shop. He asked Mark to go with him and be the store mgr. His sister started becoming a full time employee. Over the years, there has been a lot of physical changes to the store. Upgrading to try to always make it better. Making it an easier shopping experience, organizing like items to find things quicker.
This store has been serving the local communities as well as some further away for over 20 years. People looking for better deals. They find them with us. We take the time to answer all questions and always provide demonstration of items working. We are really trying to help people afford the things they need. We even have a Lay A Way program, just ask for details. We also use online sites to help get our items out to a larger audience and people that maybe can’t get to us.
THE OWNERS
The shop was sold one last time in December of 2021. It continued to be a pawn shop. The owners are Mark (yes the same Mark that came to manage when the last owner bought it) and his sister, Edyta. Together they run the shop, there are family and family friends that can step in and help if they need it, but they are very independent. They moved here from Poland over 20 years ago. They lived and went to school in a very small town. Both landed on English as their second language. They learned in school before they even came here.
When they did get here (just barely in their 20’s) they worked very hard, with goals in their minds since before they left Poland. They became citizens! Of this we are very proud!! They came here with nothing and after years of hard work they are adding icing to their cake.
Having worked there for so long, they know a lot of the local business owners. Helping each other’s business. Us eating local and they come to us before a big box store. They have come a long way from their humble roots. They now have the experience and knowledge to run a successful business.
It’s not always easy being a family owned business, but at the end of the day, who better to count on than family. If reliability, loyalty and a strong family bond is what you’re looking for, you found it in us.
